Source and license status ↗ABOUT / AN OPEN PROJECT
Creative production tools for the people who use them. Our commitment is fully free and open source: a shared project shaped by artists, operators, developers and educators.
SHOWAVE · Powered by Afro Unity Group
Godrick Sankofa is the creator of SHOWAVE, a project by Afro Unity Group. The ambition is a connected family of tools for live visuals, broadcast, mapping, lighting and show control.
That ambition grows through people who build, test, document, translate and teach. Project stewardship means making the work understandable, reviewing it with care and giving contributors a practical way to take part.

Source and license status ↗Discuss the need, make a focused change, test it and document the result. Contribution quality and user needs guide review.
Contribution workflow ↗Donations and sponsorship sustain the work. They do not buy ownership, financial returns or control of the roadmap.
Development fund ↗Blender demonstrates how free software, community contributions and independent funding can work together. SHOWAVE is adapting those principles to live production while keeping its own identity, people and development priorities.
SHOWAVE is independent of Blender and does not claim its affiliation, foundation status, donors or licenses. Read the Blender contribution handbook and funding policy that inform this approach.
Current installers remain preview snapshots with platform-specific capabilities. A merged source change is not automatically part of those packages. Test a small rehearsal, record your build and share useful feedback.
